Malaga Harbour has become the second most important port of call for Tourist Cruise ships in peninsula Spain, and receives some of the most important and prestigious liners in the world. There are ferries that run to Malaga from North Africa, Melilla in particular, the duration of the journey is eight hours, these ferries run daily from September to June, Monday to Saturday & run by Trasmediterránea.

Travelling to Malaga By Rail.

Railways are a vital transportation hub connecting Malaga City to it's nearby city's like Madrid, Barcelona and Seville and also to Europe. Travelling from Malaga to Seville takes three hours and there are as many trains that run on a daily basis, travel time from Barcelona to Malaga is around 7 hours, these services are efficient and reliable and are run by Renfe.
