| Gibraltar. |

This town is located in Andalucia and is famous all over the world for the "Rock of Gibraltar", while your here make sure not to miss the monkeys that roam around here. The drive from Malaga to Gibraltar takes just one and a half hours, the tunnels in the city show about it's history and the times it faced during the wars, the botanical gardens here are definitely worth a visit, the city is well equipped and has most of the popular shops that you would find in the UK, there are also many traditional shops that have a variety of souvenirs that you can take home for family and friends. |

Antequera is a beautiful medieval city that dates back to the Bronze age, Antequera is only an hour from Malaga and is extremely rich in culture and architecture, with sites such as the Roman bath, churches, Moorish castles and bell towers. Antequera also has a very beautiful natural salt water lake called Fuente de Piedra, which is set in the northwest, Fuente de Piedra lake also has many pink Flamingos that impress visiting tourists. Antequera is known for the production of Asparagus, during the summer you will often come across fields full of bright yellow sunflowers. |

Seville is the capital of Andalucía and is the third most expensive city in Spain, the city is set on the banks of River Guadalquivir, Seville is believed to be established by the famous emperor Hercules and has been known by different names in various civilizations. The Romans called it Hispalis and the Moors called it Isbiliya, it is known for the minaret of La Giralda which is a famous cathedral and the Alcazar Palace. While your here in Seville be sure to take a walk by the river where the views are absolutely breath taking, Seville is also home to the Fine Arts Museum which is the second largest in Spain. |

People who are fond of good food should definitely visit Benahavis, located inland of Marbella this city has a large selection of good restaurants to choose from and is also known as the dining room of Andalucía. Andalucía is 500m above sea level so while driving you'll be sure to have an uphill drive, in this area the nature has been preserved and the narrow roads are immaculately clean. The castle of Montemayor shows the Moorish influence, La Aldea an area in this city was built by an English man and was made famous from it's galleries. |

This is one of the white towns which is in the south of Malaga, the line of restaurants and bars along the coastline offer tourists a nice meal by the seaside. The town covers a coastline of 12 kms, the coasts of Mijas offers wide variety of adventure sports life windsurfing and water skiing etc, Mijas also has some exquisite Spanish shops which sell pottery, lace work which can be taken back as souvenirs, on Wednesday and Saturdays the streets are flooded with locals due to the markets where you can get some good bargains. If the local traditions with food, sherry and tapas are to be enjoyed a visit around July 25th will fetch rewards due to the week long local festival. |

This beautiful city is set in the foothills of Sierra Nevada and the snow covered peaks offer a great treat to the eyes. Skiing is pretty popular here, the large set of palaces and gardens in the heart of the city are called Alhambra. They are believed to have been constructed in the 14th century by the Nazari dynasty. To the north of Granada is the Sacromonte hill which has a lot of caves dating back to the times of the Gypsies, this ancient city is rich in its mysterious past and has been given the name by the Romans, in Roman the word means great castle. |

This village is another of the white villages of Andalucia, the village is halfway between Gibraltar and Marbella, so those planning a trip to Gibraltar can visit Casares on the way. Casares is home to a beautiful coastline and offers great view of the sea on a clear day. This small village is so beautiful that it has often been called the postcard village, the village is set on a hill and the houses appear look sugar cubes piled on top of each other as you look from the bottom of the hill, while at the top is the gorgeous Arab Castle. The top of the hill provides great platform to view falcons and kestrels on the coast, and on a clear day you can also see the African coastline with the famous Rock of Gibraltar as a backdrop. |

Nerja is a sleepy little seaside town 50 km of Malaga along the eastern coastal highway, the beaches here are famous for their clear water and sparkling white sand. The eastern side of the city is where the range Sierra Almijara is located, the spectacular coastline offers a great base to some exciting water sports like skiing, sailing and scuba diving. Balcon De Europe a beautiful Moorish castle in the centre of the city offers a great view of the sea and coves, the caves located just 3 kms of Nerja are the most famous, these are also known for paintings and pre historic findings. |
