Spanish Film Festival 1st of May

Malaga born actor Antonia Banderas is the honorary president of the Annual Spanish film festival which is conducted every year starting 1st of May. This is an excellent platform for all the Spanish film makers to showcase their talents. A chance to catch good movies with the added chance of taking autograph and photograph of popular Antonia Banderas is what make this festival so special.

May crosses 1st - 4th of May

May Crosses festival is organized between 1st and 4th of may to honour the cross on which the Jesus was crucified. Being a flowering season processions are carried out with beautifully decorated crosses with lovely seasonal flowers. The best decorated cross is also awarded.

Jerez Horse Fair 10th - 17th of May

If you are an equestrian lover then Jerez Horse fair which is held usually in last week of April and first week of May in Gonzalo Hontoria Fair Grounds should be included in your travelling schedule. This is an excellent venue to see collection of fine horses and beautifully decorated carriages. Like all fairs in Malaga you will have plenty of local food and wine to sample in Jerez horse fair.
