Beautifully landscaped Jardín de La Concepción contains more then 5000 different varieties of plants , trees and shrubs which attract millions of nature lovers every year. This 150 year old garden was originally developed by Marquess of Lorings and is now being maintained by the Malaga Botanical society.
These gardens are considered to have the richest collection of plants in entire Europe. They were declared as a national heritage site in 1943 and were thrown open to the public viewing in 1994. The garden, besides being a site of rich flora and fauna, also houses a small archeological museum displaying ancient roman pieces.
Another interesting spot is “Around the world in 80 trees” where the trees from 5 continents of the world are planted as per their country of origin.
