Picasso is famous all around the world for his contribution to art. He was born in Spain and this foundation is located at his birthplace. This building was built in 1861 however it has been taken as a part of the Spanish museums since 1991. It is located near Alcazaba and the Roman theatre. The museum has been divided into two sections - one displays the paintings, pottery of Picasso and the other section thes work of other artists.
The museum is used a lot by the academic population. The museum also is home to books donated by the extended family of Picasso.
