An every art lover’s delight would be a visit to the famous Picasso museum located at Plaza de la Meced in Malaga. The building where Pablo Picasso was bon in 1881 has been renovated and converted into a museum which is a shrine for any artist.
The museum houses some of the most famous original paintings of Picasso donated to the museum by his heirs. It also showcases the works of 200 other artists and contains more then 2,500 pieces of art.
Every year, in October, to mark the birth month of Picasso lots of cultural events , music festivals , symposiums are organized by museum authorities which attracts artists from all across the globe. Open from Monday to Saturday 10 am to 8 PM entrance is free for senior citizens and students up to seventeen years of age. For others the entry fee is 1 euro.Build on the guidelines of the 16th century architecture the building is a treat to the eyes. Malaga’s history can be easily read through the traces of the Roman, Moorish and Phoenician traces in the building
