Book youself a place in one the luxury cruise liner to visit this beautiful and romantic monument. Alhambra palace is the last remaining example of moorish architeture revealing the excellence and rich culture of the moorish heritage which ruled Spain from 700 BC to 1492.

Marked as UNESCO’s world heritage site this red fortress contains many interesting features like the Hall of the Ambassdors. This is the largest room in the Alhambra palace with a 75 feet high dome. The room was used as a reception area and the kings throne was placed just opposite the entrance.

After completing the tour of this massive palace why not head to Mirador de San nicolas which is the largest surviving Moorish quaters. This place also provides a panoramic view of the Alhambra Palace with snow capped sierra Nevada mountains providing the perfect backdrop.
