Malaga is a coastal city which is located on the tip of the Iberian Peninsula with the harbour to the Mediterranean Sea. It is a very beautiful harbour and indeed a very busy one also, every year around 350,000 passengers visit this harbour. Overlooked by the castle of Girbalfaro it is used by big, small sized ships and boats as a port. The newer eastern dock is used to port cruise liners and passenger ships.

The well connected network which eases the commutation from one dock to the other is a speciality of this harbour. The harbour is also well connected to the city centre and the railway station.. It is also the inlet to a lot of liquid and food materials to the city.
