A visit to any Spanish city is incomplete without a visit to its famous bullrings. Malaga Plaza de Toros is located right in the centre of the city. An imposing amphitheatre with a centralized open space which is packed with crushed rocks, acts as a stage for the bull fights.

The central open space is surrounded by what is called as callejon or alley where the bull fighters can take refuge if thigns get too hot - these alleys are very narrow and cannot be entered by bulls. The bull fighting arena is surrounded by rows of tiered seats for the spectators. Every year the bull fighting festival is held in the month of October so grab a ticket and enjoy a session of this dangerous but thrilling game.
